At BALIQUI we try to make business as simple as possible. Whilst we are very much aware that we are offering handicrafts and furniture from a tropical, developing country that has been in a financial and political crisis for the past few years, we have found that the crisis has not really affected Indonesia’s ability to produce high-quality products for export.

We have set our minimums relatively low for more details, you will find all necessary information at our Terms & conditions - page.

Upon receiving your order by e-mail or fax we will issue a sales confirmation, along with information about approximate production time and, if it is required, an estimation of shipping costs. If you agree by confirming the sales confirmation we will then request a 50% deposit of the total value of your goods to our account. This rule applies for wholesale and retail orders. For smaller retail and sample orders under US$2,000, we require full payment in advance.

Handicraft products are generally not dutiable and often there is no quota. However if quotas apply on some items for certain countries (for example there are quotas in the United States on fabrics for sarongs), we will inform you when you order.

Upon completion of your order and prior to shipping we will ask you to transfer the remaining balance, which is due at the time of shipping. Payment for shipping is always in US-Dollar and we may request that shipping costs be forwarded directly to the shipping company which handles your shipment or to the local handling agent. BALIQUI is only a supplier, not a shipper.

We have numerous enquiries from people who have been to Indonesia and shipped back containers of products to sell from warehouses or at markets and fairs. If you are interested, we can accommodate your orders for items not shown in our catalogue. If you would like us to act as your buying agent here, we can do so. We can probably get better prices and quality than you have been able to find by yourself. We will be happy to arrange shipments from manufacturers you are already using. You will find that there will not be a big price difference after you include your savings on transportation, lodging and other hassles.

Please feel free to forward any special requests about products that cannot be found on our website or any different colours or sizes that you may want. We are happy to serve you in any way. Any genius request or new idea is always welcome.
